Souled Out Band

R & B / Soul / Funk - Let’s Dance!

Ray Allaire

Ray ‘It’s all about the BASS’ Allaire keeps the band laughing—mostly by giving Mike L a hard time. He’s one of those guys musicians envy— a guy that can play a several instruments, well. None of the guys in Souled Out let Ray check out their axes because they don’t want to be shown up. During the day Ray runs his own custom cabinet biz’ - a master craftsman.

Birthplace: Springfield, Massachusetts

Previous Bands:  Axis, The Frank Manzie Band, The Ray Allaire Band

Hobbies: Fishing, woodworking, getting under Mike's skin and...well, several things I probably shouldn't mention here

Favorite Quote: “The whole problem can be stated quite simply by asking, 'Is there a meaning to music?' My answer would be, 'Yes.' And 'Can you state in so many words what the meaning is?' My answer to that would be, No.”  -- Aaron Copeland -US composer  --

Favorite bass players: Leland Sklar, Nathan East, Mark King, Verdine White and, most recently, James Jamerson (thanks, Bob)

If I won the Lottery, I’d: Are we talkin' $$ ?...or, like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ?....'cause, if it's the latter, you probably won't see me for a while......

Favorite Band/Artists: Peter Gabriel, XTC, Jellyfish, Shawn Colvin, EWF, Stevie (Wonder...not, Ray Vaughn ) and 50 Cent ....just kidding! LOL

Bass, Vocals, highest voice in the band, has lot of power tools—knows how to use them.
